A Vision of Students Today

After watching A Vision of Students Today by Micheal Wesch, I was surprised.  I didn't know how busy students in college were.  The fact that they have to multi-task almost every hour means that they are very busy.  If you do what your supposed to I can't imagine having any time to relax.  The internet probably helps them get things done faster and with more quality.  I think that with out modern technology, even the best students would struggle in college.  I also thought it was interesting how the video asked, "If walls could talk, what would they say."  I didn't really understand what that meant.  Possibly how walls veiwed a classroom situation?  The fact that 18% of teachers know your name makes me want to respond to questions and paticipate more in class.  I would make them learn my name instead of them not knowing who I am. Finally I find it weird how most students today rely on the internet and such to get them through life.  I used to not be able to do anything on the computer and now I know more than the common person.  Computers make things easier and make the world seem smaller.  New things are uploaded everyday and just one could change your life.
